Belmont Library, ngarrabangba

Belmont Library is located in the Belmont central business district, close to schools, TAFE campus and public transport.

The library has a redeveloped sunny reading room with a beautiful leafy outlook, while it’s children’s area has been refurbished with an artist’s mural. An exhibition space provides a platform for the development and presentation of artists and artists' work from the region. A meeting room is available for hire.

About Belmont Library, ngarrabangba

The word ngarrabangba means “Change Place” in Awabakal and refers to the first Aboriginal mission in Australia. ngarrabangba is also the cultural name given to Belmont Library.
