Apply for Telecommunication Infrastructure on Council land

Applications for the leasing or licensing of Council owned land for the installation of a telecommunication facility should be submitted to Council Officers for review.  A formal Council resolution is required prior to entering into any lease or licence with Council.

Step 1.Gather your documents

As part of this application you will need to ensure that you have the drawings/plans that provide the following:

  • proposed location of facility within the identified land
  • proposed overall height of the infrastructure
  • proposed total area to be occupied

Step 2.Pay

Fees will be calculated by Council staff and provided to you in writing after we've received your application form.

Step 3.Apply

Once you have gathered your documents, you can apply online for a lease or licence.  You'll need to upload electronic versions of the required documentation in order to complete your application.
