The Real Film Festival (RFF) 2019 begins in Newcastle and will pop-up in a town near you!
The newest documentaries and independent short and feature length films based on real events from around the region and the globe will be screened in various Hunter region locations. Specialised professional development film programs will offer young and emerging filmmakers and the Hunter region’s screen industry sector valuable skills and networks.
The Festival program comprises of screenings of local, national and international documentaries and true stories. RFF provides a platform to celebrate diversity on screen and behind the camera. Skills building workshops, a Short Film Competition and community events that provide opportunities for the whole community to be involved in - Watch, Learn, Create and Connect.
