The Lake Macquarie Urban Development Program (UDP) is Council’s tool to monitor our City’s residential development pipeline in both greenfield and infill areas. The UDP is used to guide infrastructure planning and delivery, inform strategic planning, and to understand development opportunities and constraints. The UDP includes all residential development typologies, from secondary dwellings to large-scale subdivisions. Each development identified within the UDP is monitored through all stages of the development cycle, from future zoning opportunities, through to the development application, and construction.
